A ruler that makers and restorers may find useful...

This forum is a place for our readers to pass on things they've figured out that will help other readers. Several folks who are experienced in building, collecting, and displaying putz houses stop by frequently, so check back for new ideas, and add some yourself. Any suggestions you have, things you've learned that you'd like to pass on, weird problems you need help with, all are welcome here. - Paul

A ruler that makers and restorers may find useful...

Post by Howard »

It's a 4-inch by 4-inch quilter’s ruler by Omnigrid®…item number 4G…I just wish I could remember who posted it on their craft blog and give them credit for bring it to my attention…i bought mine in the craft store fabric department...

It has all the layout and measuring lines I use…each inch divided into 1/8-inch grids…there are layout lines for 30, 45, and 60 degree angles for roof lines…perfect 90 degrees edges for house corners plus edges of windows and doors…it’s a handy cutting guide for a craft knife in a pinch…(but a metal ruler is recommended for lots of cutting)…

My very best regards…Howard

Oh Howard, thanks so much for this. I've been going out of my mind trying to "remember" this ruler!
