There is not a good place for this, but the Mary Engelbreit people have converted three of her cottage drawings into laser-cut wood and card stock kits you can assemble yourself. Each is 7-9" tall, $30@. But cute as bunnies.
If nothing else, you can get ideas for your projects by looking and what she has.

These houses are sold out at this time, but they have ordered more.
But I think they are just adorable.

Re: Mary Engelbreit cottages in 3d laser-cut kits.
Howard, to answer your question, I've sort of been shopping for laser cutters, but the marketplace is still pretty weird. The ones under $300 tend to be shipped from China and have reviews that are evenly divided between "greatest thing since sliced bread" and "worked for a week and died."
The ones from better brands (although they are still MADE in China) tend to be "real money." Not in a big hurry at this point, I'll wait until things stabilize.
Same for 3d printers.
