Will:

Love the house. It's on my list to make too.

Can you share your technique on how you made your fuzzy windows.

Oh, where did you pick up the cute little stars and stripes.

Hey Steve, glad you liked it! Well, here's the "scoop" on the windows: I just used your pattern here on the forum for the "pin-striping windows" template. I overlapped that with a piece of red cello, taped it down, and just outlined the pattern with a special glue bottle I have. Then, I sprinkled down the flocking onto the glued area and wala! Done deal. I painted these ones though because my flock was just a little too dark. I am going to buy some more that is lighter and mix it with what I got. The flag was purchased at a party supply store in a bag of 50. Costed me all of $2.50 I think(?). More than enough for future projects. Any other questions, just email me my friend.

Love the flag. Can you tell me where I could get the flocking? Do you think I could add this flicking to windows already in the house, probably not it will make a really mess with the coconut. Thanks so much

Hi Will, this is a great site and a great find. Sorry to be a bother but with all the color choices and knowing what you know what do you think would be a good color to order? Thank you :)

No problem Lynn! Well, I 1st tried out their "apricot" color and it was just too orange for me. Thus, the painting over of it. I probably need to buy a 1/2 oz. of the buttercream to even it out so I can get just the right hue. I've ordered it already and when I mix these 2 up, I will post a pic of what it looks like for ya! ;)

Lynn, you also may want to try embossing powder found at hobby stores. Their tannish color is very close.
