Making a reproduction "Dolly style" church...

Post by Howard »

Greetings to all…

Yes…another Dolly church…(and there may be yet another one later this year)… :)

Late last year, Will posted the picture below of an 11-inch tall Dolly church he saw on an auction site…I knew I had to build one…but decided on making a smaller version that is only 7 ¼-inches tall…see the two pattern sheets…I’ll post a picture of my finished version shortly…

My very best regards…

Howard…

Greetings to all...

Here's my smaller version of the church...

Just a few notes…extra fine colored glitter finish…hand-cut paper mullions…blue acetate windows…natural color bottle brush trees with gold balls cut from a string of dollar store beads…bell is a craft store item covered with extra fine silver glitter…

My very best regards...

Howard...

We can never have too many Dolly houses and this one is a beauty. I love the windows with the Blue acitate. Your flattie found a good home!
