Vintage Bradford Figures

What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

Not sure if these qualify as figures for putz houses, but im including them because of the box they came in. I just found these at a thrift store. I grabbed them up so fast!

Actually, it's fun to see those. Maybe they were the equivalent of the little resin people you can buy in the drug store to day to populate your ceramic villages.

Some people get very specific about matching the size of things to their houses--and there is definitely a plus to that--but I like to mix and match irrespective of size--all that said, nice finds!
