Hi Everyone!
My most recent house is from the group of houses called the Petit Four Houses. This is the second one I made; the first one was the Grain Elevator. Pete calls this one Mrs. Claus. The base is 6 ½ inches wide x 4 1/8 inches and it stands 4 ¼ inches tall. The house and roof are covered with coconut. I built the roof first and then applied the corrugated cardboard on top. The base and fence is a stucco and sand mixture. I’m not sure if the original stucco and sand was applied as is and then painted, but I mixed the paint right into the mixture before I applied it to the base and fence. The widows are Pete’s die cut window frames with red cellophane. Thanks Pete, for the measurements, coconut, windows and doors.

Super great job! Is that real Loofah tree? Wherever did you find Loofah? I have been looking and looking for loofah. Debbie W
Re: Mrs. Claus House
Hi Debbie, Yes the tree is made from luffa. I purchased mine in 2014 from Chris Blumenstock. It seems he no longer sells it directly but does supply some links to places that do one being Amozon. You can find him at chris@luffainfo. Someone on the forum past along this his name a while back. I hope this helps let me know how you make out.

Here's a link to the old thread.
Started with Brian's Planter plans.

Thanks for sharing. Your house is very inspiring.
Re: Mrs. Claus House
Lynn, that is a VERY authentic look. The only reason I would know otherwise is that some coconut is usually gone by now. GREAT work - Paul
