Uncle Tom's Bay Window Christmas Village etc.

Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. And the rest of us would love to see your work. Again, it works best if you resize your photos to 800px wide or less before you upload them - Paul

Regarding the "Christmas Capers" piece, the lady who did the rebuild was something of an artist and painted her own version of Santa and the kids from the photos Maria sent her.

She also sculpted the deer head and touched up the paint. My main contribution was telling her to vacuum the dust out of the music box mechanism and putting Maria to work tracking down a piece in good shape to let the owner know what needed to be restored. :-)

This is my final post. I got some Amazon. Com money for Christmas and bought a N scale point to point trolley system. These pictures feature my VERY curious cat. I suppose the trolleys action and small size resemble a mouse to Buddy. He is INTENSLEY interested in it as is his sister. Though she seems to like all trains. My other N scales work well on it too. Wish I had a bit more track but at $30 a pop for a 5" track I think I am tapped out for the season.
