Newest build

Post by PutzinVT »

This was a house I planned to give as a Christmas gift. But I got other wise inspired.

This one was taking up desk space, so I needed to finish it up.

You may recognize the pattern. It one of Howard's.

I coated it with an experimental coating I've been playing around with.

The pink came out real pink.
The building color was something a screwed up. But I liked the ivory color it turned out.
So I kept it.

The snow is some of my styro foam ball snow.

Now I can put it way till Christmas.

Steve...

great to see patterns being used...I'd say your coating is perfect...very vintage...

those windows look familiar, too...wonder if Paul recognizes them?

My very best regards...

Steve, always great to see your stuff. I like the "off-white" color a lot.

Great job, Steve!!! The styrofoam snow is effective. What do you use to color it?

The styrofoam snow is tinted whiter with some white paint. This makes it clump alittle bit. I like the look of it applied .

The pink in the white on the house is just some of the pink from the roof and fence sprinkled in.
