My 2011 Village

I had to put all the trees away this year because we have 2 8 week-old kittens. The houses are completely safe (they aren't interested in glitter and cardboard). The story and more pictures are on my blog:

good morning...

shanniebaby...you did an "outstanding job" on the houses...i am "more than pleased" to see what you did with the patterns!...and the entire display...looks like i see a castle there, too...love the santa and sleigh...what a find!...

darn those pesky kittens!...gotta love 'em...they're so cute...everything is a game of hunt and destroy...

i'm going to start following your blog, too...and congrats on the other "big news"...it's a "real life adventure"...

i guess it goes without saying...but i'm going to say it anyway...the publication of the patterns, photographs, instuctions and drawings would have not been possible with out the "web magic" of my e-friend paul race...he pulls all the pieces together and turns my raw notes into something i never could...

Yes, Howard that is a little castle that you see in the back. I have to admit that I spend a lot of time looking through the photo gallery on littleglitterhouses.com. I love all the houses that you create, but the castles just really jumped out at me, so I tried my best. I think the proportions are little off, but it works with my African American Santa.
