Wilkins Putz House finally finished

I finally finished the Wilkins Putz House. I think it took me almost 2 months to get it done. I am pretty happy with it - it's not perfect, but it fits together better than any house that I've ever done. I made it for the Habitat fundraiser which is held in October. I have some time to add more snow to the roof and the trees. The trees aren't glued down yet as I am always debating about the best place to put them. No fence or walls around the house because the real Wilkins house doesn't have any fences around it.

The next house will be a simplified Halloween version - you know, my favorite house to make.

This is your finest creation!...it's immediately recognizable when you look at the photos side-by-side...some elements may be exaggerated, condensed or squeezed...and small, visually unimportant details even omitted...but it's is captures the heart of the subject...it is "The Wilkins House"...a labor of love on you part...

Lucy - Your Wilkins House is breathtaking! So so many very interesting things about it! Whoever takes this home from the Fundraiser is going to be a very lucky person! Thanks for sharing the steps along the way Lucy.
