Hello from Texas

If you would like to let the rest of us know a bit about you, especially if you have any special skills or knowledge that the rest of the group might be able to draw on, that would be good. Also, if you have a blog or other web resource that's related to what we do here. . .

Hello from Texas

Post by Ellarie »

i have been investigating this site for about three years now and I’m excited to finally come around and begin this craft. I have been intrigued with architecture and decorating since I was very young, perhaps starting, with Legos and then with House Beautiful magazines as a teen. Later I designed and built a Spanish style house in Mexico. In the past 10 years I have been an avid gingerbread house maker up until I discovered these little houses. One day at my friends house in Guadalajara there was a set of five completely white Putz houses on display. They glistened and glowed and their magical charm stirred my imagination. Ever since I have wanted some of my own. So here I am hoping that by joining this forum that I can be pushed and motivated to start Putzing. I am considering to begin my adventure of creating with the Pack O’ Fun set. Any thoughts about the best project to start with? Thank you for excepting my membership and I am looking forward to meeting/chatting with all of you.

Ellarie, sorry for the delay in approving your first post. The system was supposed to give me a "heads up" but didn't.

Anything you post from now on should show up immediately.

Hi and welcome. I think you'll find a world of info and inspiration here. As a beginner Putzer myself, it has taught me much.

Hello Ellarie from Texas.

How is your winter going? Ours is seriously up and down in the Carolinas. Welcome to the Cardboard Christmas forum. We are so happy you are here. And the Pack O'Fun set is a great glittery place to start. Ask questions and post projects. We love that.
