Hope Everybody is having a wonderful sunny afternoon like we are in the Pacific NW!
I finished house # 2 from the "Fair Set" that I'm calling the Barn House. It is completely covered in coconut and Pete's coconut is just awesome!! The vibrancy of these new houses are so hard to catch with a camera. I just ordered some more so I can move on to the next house.
Here are the pics!

Re: 10th Ave Angel house and "Fair Set" Repros
Thank You so much, Howard!! Coming from you that means a great deal to me, I was just showing my wife some of the houses you've built, and she was blown away, just as I am everytime you post a new house.
I am truly loving the time I get to build houses. After printing shirts all day it is such an awesome way to unwind.
Pete is making me coconut for the "Rainbow" or "Martha Stewart" house right now. So I think that one is next on my list.
I wish I could have shown them to Ted, it would have been great to get his feedback. I would have loved to shown him the fuzzy windows too, we had talked about doing them and I wasn't able to attempt it until recently. I was friends with him on Facebook and I noticed it would have been his Birthday last week. So heres a Happy Birthday Shout Out to Ted!

This is simply awesome. I would never know it is NOT an original house. Pete's coconut IS WONDERFUL! I have to post this link at everything croton very soon so everyone can see it!

Great job, Brian!!! You are hooked and what makes it so terrific is the fact that there is a new generation now carrying on the tradition of our wonderful, fascinating world of vintage cardboard houses!!! Keep up the good work.

Everyone has said it so well that I can only think of one thing to add: where have you been all these years, Brian? Bravo. (BTW, Ted would have reminded everyone that it was indeed his birthday, so I'm betting he heard your shout out.)
And, Pete? This treat never would have been possible without your tireless efforts. Kudos to you as well!
And while I'm at it: Thanks, Paul, for providing a forum for all this to happen.

THANK YOU so much Les, Maria, and Antoinette! I am very humbled and appreciative for your praise and feedback!
Hopefully the rest of the houses will turn out in a similar fashion. I did learn a bit working on these, that I can share with you. If the house is primarily white, its best to do the body of the white work first. Then do the other colors, then after all thats dry, go back and do all the snow work. Also I let each step fully dry before moving on to the next.
I feel very fortunate to be able to work on houses again after taking a break for a few years! This forum has inspired me so much, just seeing everybody elses great pieces of art, and the show and tell here is amazing as well. I like to paint and do other forms of art, and Im a firm believer that creavtivity inspires creavtivity! So I really mean THANK YOU to everybody who posts. I belong to a few other forums for other intersts I have, and I rarely post, but everybody here are so nice and welcoming and truly capture the spirit of Christmas all year long!
