Building "Ten Cent City"...recreating 1950's little houses

Here's a place to post patterns you want to share, link to patterns you find elsewhere on the internet, and request particular kinds of patterns you're looking for. I've moved a few existing messages here to get the forum started.

Thank you Maria and Lucy. These little houses are so much fun. This yellow one is so bright and cheerful. Thank you to Paul for the graphic and thanks to Howard for his patterns....it's a great distraction from this Pandemic.

Stay well everyone,
Jeanne

greetings to all...

it's time for another "ten cent city" brick printie...this one is done up in orange...not a traditional holiday color...but it works well with all the other brick printies in this series...

below the photo is a PDF of the pattern...the orange brick graphics are available at this link...note...i used the large scale/standard gauge size bricks... https://bigindoortrains.com/indoor_reso ... xtures.htm

Paul...thanks again for creating all the printed brick graphics...

stay well and safe...and stay tuned for more brick printies...

howard...

update...6-2-2020...

greetings to all...

below is a picture of another brick printie in the "ten cent city" series...this time it's in blue...you'll also find a PDF for the pattern and another PDF for the blue brick printed graphics...and again we can thank Paul for creating the bricks...

i hope to post a "family portrait" of all the brick printies in this series later this month...

stay safe and healthy...my very best regards...

howard...

PS...as i post this update i noticed there have been over 59,000 views of the "ten cent city" series...it's hard to believe that there could be so much interest in such simple cardboard houses...but apparently there is...i'd like to think this series has brought back pleasant memories of the past...and perhaps a distraction from the turmoil in which we find ourselves...

Love it in blue too!

Imagining it in some sort of red, white and blue combination complete with flagpole!

update...6-21-2020...

greetings to all...

i figured it was finally time to post a "family portrait" of the first six ten cent city "printies"...more "printies", with different roof lines and some more of the brick graphics paul has created, to follow later...just as soon as i get out of the creative slump i find myself in at the moment...i guess i'll blame it on the summer florida heat...or possibly the infamous virus...

my very best regards...
