House on Ebay

What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

Why would anybody bid on a house until the very end? Doesn't that just run up the price?

This really is a great house with remarkable colors.

Wow Brian, you're on this project! I would love to build this house as well. Would love to see your plans/template here when you're finished. Hey, I got an idea everyone-- how about we have a "putzing bee" for those of us who wanna take it on and see what kind of variations we come up with? Anyone interested? I'M IN!

Holiday Cheers everyone,

Will~

Hey Will, that sounds fun! I can make patterns fairly quick on my computer...its the rest of the project that will take me a while....LOL
I'm a little rusty, haven't built a house in a few years, but will give it a go when time permits. I look fwd to seeing yours and others takes on it as well!!!
I heard back from the seller a second time, they are super nice, and said they didnt know about the forum here. Im going to write back and see if they'll share a few more dimensions with us to get a more exact pattern. I'll share my findings. :)

(from seller)

Hi Brian :)

I'll have to check that forum out when I have time.

Okay, the Width of the Blue Building in the Front, that has the Porch & the Front Door, is 2 5/8" wide ( NOT including the roof in that measurement ) & 1 5/8" Deep.

The Dog House is 1 3/8" Wide & 1 3/8" Deep. Again, Not including the Roof, just the actual dog house.

The Building towards the back is 3 1/8" Wide & 1 7/8" Deep, also Not including the roof..

All my Measurements are 'Approximate'....

I hope this information helps you out....

Thank you again for your interest & hope you have a nice evening!

Well, I had some time over the past three days, house sitting for my brother while he is on a cruise. (Im a little jealous!) So I got out my building supplies Friday and cranked this out. Still got to get out my coconut making supplies. But it was fun making a house again, havent made one in 2 1/2 years. :)

Congrats to whoever won this one, I saw the auction ended a little bit ago. Its truly a gem!!
