2023 PROJECT 10 - - DOLLY THREE PEAK TIMBERFRAME IN PINK...

Here's a place to post patterns you want to share, link to patterns you find elsewhere on the internet, and request particular kinds of patterns you're looking for. I've moved a few existing messages here to get the forum started.

2023 PROJECT 10 - - DOLLY THREE PEAK TIMBERFRAME IN PINK...

Post by Howard »

Greetings to all...

Here is the next Dolly Toy Company inspired "printie" house project...go here for an overview of the other ones in the series...
http://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forum ... =10&t=2221

I'll post PDFs for the printed graphics for this new house along with what I used for the roof in a day or so...I'll also post a "family portrait" of the Dolly inspired "printies" in this series later...

A couple of notes...the three figures are from the offerings of Pete Oehmen... oehmen@sbcglobal.net ...I hope to post a stone printed Dolly church before the holidays...so, stay tuned...

UPDATE NUMBER 2...09-04-2023...

The roof covering I used was crinkled silver scrapbooking paper from Hobby Lobby...see the item number in the picture below...note...the same textured look could easily be achieved by crinkling up brown wrapping paper and painting the surface with a metallic silver craft paint...

After covering the cardboard roof with the textured scrapbooking paper, selected areas were given random strokes of white craft glue and then sprinkled with extra fine clear glitter...I chose not to paint any snow areas on the roof with white paint...this glitter only look is the same as the other Dolly inspired house reproductions I've made...

I did use my usual craft store glitter with a touch of mica flakes over white paint on the base and fence...

My very best regards...

Howard...
