Bramwell, West Virginia Presbyterian Church

Post by Howard »

Greetings to all...

Here's a rather large project I recently finished for an e-friend of many years...it's almost an architectural model of her church...base measures 8 1/2" x 12" x 3/4" thick...overall height, including base, is about 8 1/2"...I lost count of the number of pieces and the time I spent to build...and yes...it was a challenge...

It's cardboard with buttresses made from 1/4" square balsa...fence is 1/4" grid hardware cloth...hand cut window mullions with stained glass pattern laser printed on paper...luffa tree has trunk made from bamboo floral stake wrapped with brown paper and textured with sand and sawdust...it's painted to look like bark...

Well, I'm off to find another project...but probably won't be anything near this size... ;) ...well, at least until something grabs my attention...

My very best regards...

Howard...

That's my kind of "almost architectural model." Really impressive, Howard!
