here's a picture of the same basic house off of ted's site...go here and scroll down to the "super lackie" heading...

https://cardboardchristmas.com/papateds ... eriod.html

i think the auction site house has a "lot of work done to it"...paint, woven broom straw window mullions?...but it's still remarkable that it could have survived...more or less...for about 100 years...

Good sleuth work Howard - amazing! When I first saw the fence on the e-bay house I thought 'never seen that before'. Its difficult to tell from Howards post but it looks like the fence has been replaced also.

Good eyes Howard.

Missed the one on Ted's site.

I'm with you that it had some work done.

Hey guys

Thought you'd like to see these details from my "super" lakkie,
which strikes me as in fairly close to original condition

Hi guys

I decided to go for this house on E-bay since I was sure my sister Barbara could do a nice job restoring it.
She basically disassembled and reassembled it, and backed up, rather than replaced, the torn window treatments with rice paper
that she dyed to match. Nice job, don't you think?

I love it that both of you were able to save this house. Barbara did a great job. Lakkies are among my favorite houses.
