Greetings to all…

Several month ago, forum member DCrowe posted a picture of a simple wooden tower…here’s the link…
http://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2216
I decided to make my Little Glitter House version by adding clock face dormers to three of the roof faces...

(Note…a simplified version could easily be built with a larger clock face on three sides in place of the arch windows and forgo the dormer clock faces)…

Here’s a link to some clock faces that Paul has provided free of charge…
http://cardboardchristmas.com/resources/clocks/clocks.pdf

The PDFs are below the picture of my raw cardboard version…I’ll post additional constructions pictures later and details regarding making the dormers and icicles…stay tuned…

Howard…

Update...08/28/2023...

A few photos of the dormers for the clock faces being glued up and attached to the roof before assembling the roof...it's a lot easier to glue them to a flat surface than the slanted sides of a roof...yes, those are matchsticks windowsills...the other picture is of the main tower body...more pictures and details about the icicle trim to come later...stay tuned...

Howard...

Update...08-31-2023...

Here are a few more under-construction photos...the pictures tell the story much better than a lot of words...but I will say this about the posterboard icicles...once primed, painted and covered with extra fine glitter, they are almost like plastic...very strong and sturdy...I'm certain you computerized, craft cutter owners will be generating SVG files and let the machine do your icicle cutting...

I'll post a picture of the completed clock tower in a day or so...stay tuned...

My very best regards...

Howard...
