I just remembered I was given a mat cutter, pulled it out just now. at first I thought it only did a straight but, but it has two slots. one for straight and one for beveled. The blade on my explore only does a plunge cut straight down. The housing does not move side to side to allow a bevel. So I would say No the cricut does not do a bevel cut.
