2nd little putz purchase

If you have an unusual piece that you have questions about, this is the place to post them. Photos are VERY welcome, though it helps if you reduce them to 800 wide before you upload them. If you can't reduce them yourself, post them anyway and I'll try to reduce them when I have time.

2nd little putz purchase

Post by debquilts »

Here is the 2nd little putz purchase that I made on our antique journey this past weekend. This one measures 2 3/4 by 3 3/4 by 1 1/4 and the base is 4 by 2 1/8. This one is totally missing its windows and door and the base has some of the finish cracked off in the lower left corner. Would that have been paper? or just some kind of plaster finish? What would you suggest I use to repair that?

Funny, neither house I bought/or any that I saw this weekend had any trees? Guess I'll have to put some "nearby" when I display them.

They really are in pretty good condition it seems to me. Nice finds. I'm with Paul, getting on with the Santa in place is amazing.
