PROTOTYPING ONE OF THE DISNEY HOUSES

Post by Pete R.Oehmen »

Happy New Year fellow enthusiasts. I hope all here are surviving these crazy times with some semblance of sanity. One of our members showed interest in duplicating one of the Disney houses. The twist to building this one was once I built the first prototype it dawned on me that the dimensions change because of the three dimensions of the open faced corrugated cardboard. I had to make a few adjustments but I think it turned out well. Also, the Japanese had a different Cardboard Flute standard than we do. This smaller size worked better scale wise anyway? WE have cast the Disney figures from the originals. Here is Mini Mouse fresh from the molds and hand painted. I can't wait to see when our friend from cardbaordchristmas finishes the first one.

I love my Laser Cutter. So much more versatility than the Circut.

I believe that I'm only missing one Disney House? That's the one Tom Hull has...

Pete…

I knew you were probably up to something…and I was right…the house kit is spot on…and that reproduction of the Minnie figurine…it is perfection…especially the paint job…will you also be offering a Mickey?…
