Hey, I have this... but I have never done anything with it... Maybe I need to drag it out and give it another look...

That looks like a perfect project for someone to begin creating their own putz structures. Great find, and thanks for sharing.

Have you seen the Greenleaf village kit? It has chipboard structural pieces and cardboard trim. It's labeled as O scale, which would theoretically make it about right for a Lionel railroad, with most of the pieces about the size of Dept. 46, Lemax, or Hawthorne Village houses. Which is to say, larger than most of the old, small Putz houses.

I was inspired after seeing this and went on to purchase both sets. I am very impressed with the quality of the product. Off it goes to the stack of my other pending projects... To be finished someday.... LOL
