Mrs. Butterworth's "putz"

Post by Shanniebaby »

I was inspired by a combination of this image: Image and all the awesome things that Kristen is making over at Junk & Stuff: http://kbatsel.blogspot.com/search/label/Halloween

Thanks Maria for sharing her website!

So, I started my own Mrs. Butterworth's project. I plan to use all the tips and tricks I'v learned from all of you guys and some of the new things I see Kristen doing. (we should invite her to our forum!)

So I have my bottle cut out for the little "shrine" area and primed in white paint. Now I'm working on a witch hat to cover the top of her head. I'll update as I make more progress.

Well, she's done. Not really my best work. This was a really hard project. But that just makes me want to try it again, lol!

I love re-purposing objects like this--a variation of Paul's "trash-bashing" in so many words.

i really like your project!...it reminds me of the "memory boxes" and "nostalgia boxes" we used to make back in the 60's and 70's...

i'll bet you'll do a mrs. santa as well...just like lee mentioned...

have you ever looked at one of those "honey bear" squeeze bottles?...

my very best regards...howard...
