Coralene Beaded House

Post by Lynn »

Hi everyone!

I just recently finished making the Coralene Beaded House. This house has been in my bucket list for some time so I am very happy to have finally made it. I have to say the multiple roofs were challenging to say the least!

This house measures 7 ½ inches by 4 7/inches and 6 inches tall, and the base is 7/8 inch high. The house is gravel applied onto stucco and then when dry I glued on the red and green seed beads. The stucco is a Martha Stewart product and I love it, great to work with. You mix it with a bit of paint and you’re ready to go.

The fuzzy mullion windows, doors and the coconut are Pete’s. For both the roof and the fence I brushed on more stucco and sprinkled with mica.

I have to say a special thanks to Pete for all his help and the great blueprints!

Looks great.

Maybe paul can help resize the pics.
I'd love to see them w/o scrolling.

Thanks so much!!

For my next project I want to try Ted's April 2006 house of the month. It's a candy box. I am working with Pete for the door and than I will have something to help gage the size. Wish me luck!!

Steve, these show up the right size on my browsers. (less than 800 px wide). Using Windows 7 also. Or maybe she resized them after she saw your note?

Lynn: GREAT PROJECT, by the way, very professional and attractive.

Beautiful house! I really enjoy seeing the different interpretations by the several artists here who create houses. Thanks for sharing pics and details.
