MYSTIC MOLDS HAVE ARRIVED

What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

Well folks today is the day, hopefully, when I finally get some a) water putty and b) some polymer clay--and c) start to make some of these penny dolls. The magnifying glass with light is clamped to the side of the desk, clean and ready to go! A friend who does some miniature work has suggested that I get as many ultra fine tip markers in assorted colors as I can because these beat a brush hands down for most detail work--so some more are on the shopping list as well. For the first time in ages, I'll have my crafting table clean and organized with everything I need--so there will be NO excuse not to get started--I'll keep you posted.

I'm looking fwd to seeing how they turn out as well! I have been looking into making molds for a Tiki mug I sculpted, as I'm am Tiki enthusiast as well. You can find a good mold soap or mold release at a ceramics store. Good luck with your projects!

Well today's the day. I'm using the wood putty first; believe it or not I was told to simply spray the mold with pam cooking spray--lightly--if I am using the wood putty! So what the heck. Hope to get this done before noon if work and the new puppy allows it.
