i recently downloaded some of the windows paul has made available and had them printed on velum…here’s the link…
http://www.cardboardchristmas.com/html/ ... urces.html
there is one slight problem with velum…it doesn’t like the moisture in white glue…which makes the velum wrinkle and distort…
the method outlined in the following two photos shows a way to install them with no distortion…
there may be other installation methods…but i like this one because the stiff cardboard frame is much easier to handle than velum and readily takes the white glue…
my very best regards…
howard

Re: installing velum windows with no distortion...
Thanks for the tip, Howard. Can't wait to see the whole building.
Re: installing velum windows with no distortion...
Interesting solution. I installed mine with Aileen's tacky glue and had no problems except that I had a hard time getting it to stick down. Also this bottle is REAL old and very thickened more than fresh is. Perhaps contact cement would serve.

Re: installing velum windows with no distortion...
I think I read somewhere that rubber cement was good for putting in windows. However, I don't know how durable that would be...
