Putz Village Photos

Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. And the rest of us would love to see your work. Again, it works best if you resize your photos to 800px wide or less before you upload them - Paul

Hi gang,
I'm posting a picture of my German embossed diecuts putz scene. They are my current obsession and I've been fortunate to track down some really great examples.

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

I love this idea! Irresistible obsession that doesn't take up much space (unless you decide to go 3D with trees, anyway). Beautiful arrangement.

Barb...

I can certainly understand the fascination of your new obsession!...I wish you much success in growing your collection...your display shows what can be done with just a few embossed pieces...I love it!...

Okay, so here's our village for 2025, featuring Rev 2.0 of the tunnel/tree-stand. Still tweaking it a bit before the open house, but generally where we're at:

Train runs through flawlessly, so big sigh of relief. A few more photos later when done-done.

SIR! Beautiful village and so well executed. Much more three-dimensional than my mantel setups. And the trains run on time! What more can you ask for?

Playing around with the Nikon tonight, caught the local coming into the station:

It's fun to wind the Bing clockwork, trying to get it to precisely stop at the station...almost impossible, lol.
