A long time ago---and I simply cannot find it---someone was considering how to make a putz "hot air balloon"---the "basket portion" was easy enough but they wanted something different for the balloon---other than paper mache or s strofoam ball.
I have been following some Russian crafters on youtube--(don't worry, the videos transcend language) and came across this tutorial for a flitter foam---turned upside down, however, it occurred to me that this would make a great covering for a styrofoam ball "balloon"....just a thought...........enjoy

This forum is a place for our readers to pass on things they've figured out that will help other readers. Several folks who are experienced in building, collecting, and displaying putz houses stop by frequently, so check back for new ideas, and add some yourself. Any suggestions you have, things you've learned that you'd like to pass on, weird problems you need help with, all are welcome here. - Paul
