Hello!
Introducing myself, I'm Leo from Eastern, Pennsylvania. About a dozen years ago, I started collecting antique Christmas lighting with an emphasis on antique lighting. At this point, my yearly tree is 99% vintage, with over 100 wonder stars and 50 plus bubble lights. In my younger days, I also used to set up American Flyer trains under the tree, circling a small village... a tradition I've neglected about the last 20 years. I'm planning on building a new platform this year and digging my old putz houses out of their sheltered corner of the attic. I would also like to start building my own houses, just as something to pass the time during the winter.
Anyway, thanks for accepting me and I look forward to participating!
Greetings from Pennsylvania

Leo...good morning...and a warm welcome to the forum...
speaking of trains and houses...i imagine many of us have similar memories...i know i do...an american flyer train on a oval of track under the tree on a snow base that was a white sheet...a handful of small putz houses...a few bottle brush trees...and a manger scene of course...
looking forward to pictures of your old houses and the new ones you create...
