2019 Putz Village: Downsized version

Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. And the rest of us would love to see your work. Again, it works best if you resize your photos to 800px wide or less before you upload them - Paul

2019 Putz Village: Downsized version

Post by OKPat »

Hi guys..... here is probably a one of a kind putz village, in micro scale and safe from Gus the cat in a vintage
glass display case. You may recognize many of these mini houses, which were made by my sister Barbara over
the years.... the tallest is under two inches, and the details are fantastic. An awesome little world in itself, made
by an awesome artist. Enjoy!

OKPat...

I totally agree with Les...a real beauty...and a very imaginative use of a vintage display case...that is certainly one way to keep Gus at bay...

Did you put up a traditional village this year?...and did you finish the scene you previewed recently?...(at least i think it was you)...but can't put my finger on the topic right now...

my very best regards...

Howard...

It's a beautiful winter wonderland. A place you would love to run to and immediately make snow angels.

The houses are truly amazing I love how small they are. You would never know they are the micro version of the originals.

A wonderful job by both of you!!

It really is awesome. I’ve seen one house under glass, but a whole village is quite fun.r

At first I just looked at the pics and admired a beautiful village in a great vintage display case. Not until others commented did I read that it is a MINIATURE village! How incredible! I feel for Gus the Cat, but his world is likely a safer place with these tiny treasures protected. Thank you for sharing pics of this winter wonderland.
