2017 'Mountain' Village

Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. And the rest of us would love to see your work. Again, it works best if you resize your photos to 800px wide or less before you upload them - Paul

Laurie...

first...still more houses i've never seen before!...i doubt if the varieties will ever end...

second...the high hills/mountain really adds a lot of visual interest...you can see every building and each mini scene with ease...

Merry Christmas...

Lucy, the buildings are all restorations. The only way I can afford to buy any houses is if they are in rough shape - but I really enjoy bringing them back to near original. I haven't seen the little black building before either; it was one of Papa Teds. Again, it was in pretty sad shape. The window was in shatters but I was able to piece it all back together. I love a good puzzle.

Laurie this is a wonderful set up. I love the levels it give so much more room and you get to see the whole house. Mine being one level so much is hidden. The figures add so much and I love the manger! Truly a winter wonderland, I'm glad you added close up pictures.
