2018 MARIA-ISHI

Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. And the rest of us would love to see your work. Again, it works best if you resize your photos to 800px wide or less before you upload them - Paul

2018 MARIA-ISHI

Post by maria »

As many of you know, I love cardboard houses and holiday villages---and so I don't go through "putz house" withdrawal in the summer, I put out the village of....Maria-ishi. It's evolved throughout the years--many vintage and antique accessories from Japan, Bali, Hong Kong and China--and new ones too--like the dollar silk fans from China---and putz houses are all made by Howard Lamey of littleglitterhouses.com. The large wall fan is Sirrocho Wood, vintage 1960's.

Maria...
Ah, yes...I do see some “familiar items”...but have you added a few larger accent pieces?...
