Living in the Philippines now!...

Post by Clinton »

Warmest greetings everyone! I haven't been too active here lately because of my BIG move to the Philippines and taking care of my Facebook Putz House page. I just wanted to check in and share a few pics with you all and report a little bit on what I've been up to! First, I am STILL building putz houses, and second, I am finding some very unique supplies here to use for building as well. Here's some pics. enjoy!

***UPDATE*** Here's some new pics of the church I'm building. I am not digging the "glitter" on the walls though.. I think I need to redo that part. Maybe a sand-like finish? Hmmmm... :geek:

Clinton, there were a bunch of houses that used glitter with silver in it and turned black over the years. You may not think it's a great look but it's not so far off from some of the vintage ones. Nice windows, by the way.

Thanks Paul! I already recoated it with another shade of grey and will be sprinkling a white/black fine sand on it when I have a few spare moments. I will repost it when it's done.
