Cricut is currently moving to a desktop version and will eliminate the web-based version by January 29th I believe. I think that may resolve some issues people were having regarding the speed and performance but the desktop version has its own set of problems so time will tell. I realize this is ...

Very nice build. Novel and unique! Can I ask where you picked up the, old style, long shank bulbs? I know they were used in some of the older C6 light sets but I haven't found a modern source for them.

Thanks for all the input! I did neglect to mention that I have a Cricut Maker although my dad was an avid RC builder so I do have considerable experience with an X-acto knife. I managed to get an order in on time for some .024 and .030 for delivery by the weekend. I figure I'll give them both a try ...
