Hi Gang, only 51 days till Christmas, holy cow, how did that happen. Thanks Paul for the newsletter and your time to keep us all informed.
I've been watching a listing on ebay #381448733011 a large group of houses in pieces. Seller has dropped the price already once, now at $32.50 and she'll most ...

pre WW1 houses?
Hi all, I was hoping to get some input/opinion on some houses listed right now on ebay. The sellers name is noelbob, listing # for 1 of the houses is 141718689868. You can then click on the right to see his other items. He has 4-5 house he says are pre WW1, saw them in a Montgomery Ward catalog ...

Old putz house with dog and different finishes?
Hi there, Happy Sunday. Does anyone recognize this house or has seen a putz house with a dog figure? The house is 6" X 4" X 6" tall. It has very small windows with no cellophanes, 1/2 covered at the top with snow. Base is foil covered with cellophane over top, and roof has saran wrap on part of it ...

Re: age of old house with snowman?
Thanks Tom, for the info, I did go ahead and put a skinny sponge tree there at the bottom of the stairs. And the other sponge pieces worked well for hiding the big gap between the base and house. I sold it on ebay for $25, was hoping for more but that's the way it goes. The lady who bought it is ...

Re: Uncle Tom's Piano Houses
Hi Tom, very nice layout on your piano. Funny thing is I just saw one of those German groupings on ebay, I had never seen 1 before. They're asking $300 for it. Almost identical to yours, have a look #281589325521

Re: Different OLD house with two Tube B b Trees.
Hi Tom, greetings. I could not resist reading some of the posts while I was on here looking for help with my old house. I've had a few of these trees, almost like a thin bamboo. I found a way to stabilize them by "very carefully" putting small dabs of glue on the ones that wiggle, right in by the ...

age of old house with snowman?
Hi folks, long time, no post. I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday season. I've been working on my oldest house but was wondering if anyone knows exactly what time frame it fits in. I was thinking early 30's with the raffia fence? I neglected to take any before pix, so what you see already has new ...

Re: Dolly Toy or Colmor?
Mystery solved. Colmor made 2 types of houses. The Christmas Tree Village in the blue box with the icicle houses and trees, which Laura bought, but the 16 houses included are from another set. "A Happitime product" sold by Sears, Roebuck Co. also by Colmor as seen on Ted's WW2 page at the bottom ...
