Hello everyone,
I've been lurking here since joining a year ago, reading and rereading all the wonderful information posted. I was into HO trains and an old Lionel set from childhood when my children were small and have collected antique glass German Christmas ornaments for years. I had to stop when their prices became so inhibitive. After living aboard and sailing for 3 years, we've settled back down, and I decided it was time to consider collecting affordable putz houses. That limits me to common and poor condition houses which I have been refurbishing. I contacted Pete for some coconut and have put to use the tips from Tom and Howard. I'm working on posting pics of the houses I've restored and hope to soon finish making my first house. I'm looking forward to being a little more active in the group now.
