Filling Gaps With Cotton

Hi everyone!
I hate having any gaps in my houses where the light will shine through (I am new to making the houses...maybe YOU don't have any gaps). I discovered that I could use the cotton from pill bottles, twist it, and work it into the gaps with my bone folder and apply some Tacky Glue. Next, I smoothed it with my finger. The primer adheres to it and I can't even see it!
Oh, and an ironic anecdote: I have been cutting like crazy with the Exacto and Mat Knives, being so careful to not cut myself, keeping the blades sharp, etc. I haven't even nicked myself. So, in the mail yesterday was some credit card offer from my bank. I was lazy and didn't get the letter opener so I opened the envelope with my left thumb. OUCH! I got the worst papercut I have ever had! It was really bleeding! Thankfully, my thumbnail stopped if from going deeper. Wacky, huh?!
