good morning...

here's a custom project i completed for a client earlier this year as a gift for someone special...

i worked from the old black and white picture plus more recent color photos of the home...

base measures about 7" square...total height including base is a little over 4"...

my very best regards...howard...

Howard, VERY VERY nice house! I do love the hedges. Are the little people model railroading figures? Did you have to modifiy them at all?

Again. Another great job.

I like the looks of the chimney.

The windows are way cool too. :-)

good afternoon...

figure on sled was small resin-cast ornament which i repainted...

other two were plastic model railroad figures i had to modify...they were dressed in summer wear...so i wrapped the arms, legs and bodies with layers of string coated with white glue to make the clothing look like snow suits...after glue was dry i primed multiple times and then painted...

the figures were requested by the client to represent the family children...i'd say the black and white photo was from the later 1940's or early very early 1950's...

the hedge is made from about 5/8" high strips of green pot scrubber pad from the dollar store...

my very best regards...howard...

GREEN POT SCRUBBER PAD! I had forgotten you could use that for hedges!
