"PRINTED STAIRCASE" PUTZ

This is currently being offered on ebay. I thought it was interesting because the staircase is "printed"--and I dont think I have ever seen that before--it purports to be from the 50's

It has a Colmor vibe, but is totally new to me.

This is for sure NOT the 1950's. In fact it is a printie from the early thirties and sometimes these were candybox houses. I cannot tell whether this one is or not. I had one like this but yellow rather than red and with the corner bricks picked out in red rather than white. Yes the printed steps are part of the charm of some of these early printies. Notice the "Gloss top" which points to an early date possibly as early as 29. And of course Japan! Tom

I am watching this too.... don't think it is a candy box because I think I recall seeing an image of this house with the large light hole in the back. So that would take it out the category, yes??
