A Boxed set of Small Paper Label Fuzzy Window Houses

I dragged this set in to get pictures of it to share with you. If you want close ups of any of them let me know. NO I did not buy this as a set and yes I had to make some fuzzy windows for a few. However I obviously got a lot of them together as 5 have a STAMPED circular mark that looks like the cut out paper label. Three have the conventional paper label. With the exception of the very few Made in Occupied Japan circular stamp marks I have never seen this stamp mark before. Given the very simple designs and sizes are so small I would assume this is later in the pre-war period. The house in the lower right corner is a paper label and pretty obviously was much more exposed to light as the red coconut is badly faded and the tree has faded to brown. Nice group but NOT ornament houses and they all have light holes in the back. These measure about, base 4" X 2 3/4" and 3" tall. I made the box for them out of large sheets of chip board I bought at a newspaper office.

Very nice set! I have a few with the paper stamp like that, but can't remember if I've seen the direct to base circle stamp. Very cool! Also I'm taking note of the 3 different style of flocked windows. I agree, THANKS for sharing!!

Tom did you make the window in the little blue house? It only has 6 panes, that's a style Ted never recreated. Do you know if the dimensions are the same as his part number for the 5 or 5s?
Thanks!

I'm not sure what of Ted's windows it is comparable but the hole measures 13/16" long and 3/4" high in the middle (these are exact measurements). NOTICE that on fuzzy windows there is NOT gold a frame to sort of fake the hole size. The holes had to be exactly cut and the windows MUCH more carefully placed than in other types because there is no margin for error. This is of course from the same company that made the EARLY green spot houses. At least the ones with the paper labels and these houses were a superior product in every way from design to craftsmanship. You did take note of the fact that green spot paper label fuzzy windows ARE not based on the regular gold framed and mullioned designs. They are of their own family. NO I did not make this window it is original to it. (Sharp eye there Brian)

Thanks Tom, I'm excited to make a bunch of these fuzzy windows, however, I do see more trial and error here. Thanks for the dimensions as well!! It shouldn't be to hard to alter my window files to not have the frame around them. I'm going to copy and paste a couple of these pics into the program along side the digital file to get these right. We'll have to give these babies their own part #'s for sure! I also still need to sift through the ones I have in my own village! But if you see any more pop up, please keep the pics coming!!!

Also note the church type is more sharply pointed than the gold framed cels.
