TRAY HOUSES AN AMAZING FIND

Hello my old friends. It's been a while, I haven't been able to access this site for a very long time. Anyway, I thought I share this information with you just to see if cardboardchristmas id working for me. As a serious collector of putz houses I have been able to amass a collection of well over 3000 houses. Because of this I am able to see many houses side by side to observe common features. If you have been collecting putz houses for a while you might be aware of the "Grandma and Grandpa" houses. These are two of the most desireable houses selling for well over $500.00 each. I now know that the Grandpa house has four different sizes whereas the Grandma house has two different sizes. The fun part is that the smallest versions are from the "Tray Family". This style of houses actually have a base that is in the form of a tray (see pictures). These Tray Houses are also Candy Containers that have the sliding disc in black that keeps the candy in place until a child releases the treasures. The Tray houses are mostly Coconut and Haciendas. I'm attaching some photos of this series. Hope to hear from you if you have additional information of these families.
