2022 PROJECT NO. 2 -- HALLOWEEN OWL...

Greetings to all...
Here’s one more Halloween theme project…it’s based on many images of “vintage Halloween owl clip art” on the internet…there are hundreds (more like thousands) of design variations for inspiration…any owl outline and front details will work…
Just a few notes…
the moon is a disk of yellow glittered card stock…
the eyes are transparent yellow office file folder gently sanded with fine sandpaper to make translucent…the pupils are black card stock with a pie shape cutout…for more light diffusion, I backed up the yellow file folder with ordinary waxed paper…super glue was sparingly used to assemble the pieces…
I made the spacer block out ready-to-assemble furniture foam packing…and edge banded with thin cardboard…
A black fine point ballpoint pen plus sharp and broad point permanent markers were used for the face and feathers…
The feet were cut from yellow card stock with permanent marker details…
I think all the other parts are detailed on the patterns and the pictures…the patterns will be posted shortly...
Stay tuned…there may be one more Halloween project similar to the jack-‘o-lantern Irecently posted...
Howard…
