windmill putz project pattern...

good evening...

here's another small project plan i hope some of you will enjoy building...

it's pretty simple...i'll let the drawings tell the story...and post a couple of pix of the major pieces cut out and assembled in a day or so...but not going to post a lot of construction details...paul has already done that in great detail over the last few years...but i will show pix of how i made the shaft and mounted the blade...there are many ways to do this...you might even want to leave off the bamboo skewer hold on the back wall...

to make it easier to see all the details, you might want to print the pattern out in landscape mode with the page set up with minimum page margins...i'm not the techno person...but this is what i did...

i'd like to see your completed windmill pictures posted here...

my very best regards...

Howard, your stuff always "brings a smile" to my face. But first my jaw drops. Thanks again for sharing in such detail - this is really a "howard's how-to" thread. Paul

Just got back on line after a long delay. The windmill is fantastic, Howard. It's on my to-do list before Christmas.

Howard - I was browsing the forum archives tonight and saw your windmill. How delightful! I'm going to try my hand at it.

On another note - I believe you are a Floridian? Hope all's well weather-wise in the coming days.

With a nod to Howard...thanks for the inspiration and pattern. I took a few liberties with the details. If anyone uses a cutting machine, I have most of the main pieces available as SVG files and would be happy to share.
