Hello all,
My name is Luann,
I’m so happy to be here, Thank you Paul for your help getting onto the forum!
I remember the Putz village my parents had when I was little, my Dad set it up every year under the Christmas tree! I loved it.
I wish I still had it today but unfortunately, I don’t know what happened to it.
I heard about making the little houses a few years ago, and started saving cardboard.
Then last year I decided to try and make some.
I searched online and found Howard’s Little Glitter Houses web site.
I got started right away and enjoyed it so much I made four of the houses and one church,
before Christmas last year.
I then found The Pack Of Fun Houses and made those early this year, although I think when I printed the pattern out it somehow got turned around and the windows and doors are on the opposite side of what they’re supposed to be. It didn’t matter to me, I still loved them so I left them that way.
After a few months I started thinking about making more houses.
I was reading posts on the forum and saw The Ten Cent City Houses, I knew they would be my next project.
I have five houses made and the church is in progress.
I have red cellophane for the windows but not the doors.
Would someone please help me with where to get the doors.
Thank you.
I will post pictures as soon as I figure out how.
