I have been toying with a used one I got and I have to say, it's not a bad companion for ceramic or resin Christmas villages like Dept 56 and Lemax. The locomotive is very attractive and the coaches have a nice vintage "Baby Madison" look with a superb paint job. The current version with remote control and even Bluetooth is on sale right now on Amazon. It's currently a very good price compared to other sets in this price range.

The coaches also have "snow" and footprints on the roof, which the earlier versions didn't have. Here's a photo of the current version.
