Cardboard Christmas

Hello,

I'm fairly new to the Putz World. My family has setup a Christmas village from before the time I was born. For years I thought that the few cardboard houses that I had were rare, but not of any value. Then one day I was at a flea market with my wife and found a few for sale. That started it. Eventually I looked online and found this website. Wow! I have followed the site for several years. What finally made me join was the recent post about Lighthouse Putzs. I have one. My sister found it at an estate sale in Wisconsin and sent it to me. The village comes down right after Easter at our house and goes back up for Thanksgiving. When I unpack in November I will post a picture of the third Lighthouse. Thank you Paul for allowing me to join and for maintaining this wonderful resource.

Welcome Bruce. You've come to the right place. I look forward to see more from you. I sure would like to see a picture of your Lighthouse! I only know of two in the whole world and I have one of them. The other one is featured on Papa Ted's site as an HOM. Please, please post a picture. I'm the author of the Putz House Collector's Guide and I love to keep track of rare pieces.
