Birdhouse Christmas Ornaments

I had a lot of unfinished houses left over after the Little House Making Party. Some I can use for my Halloween project, but I had a lot of birdhouses which make great Christmas ornaments. The birdhouses are made from a commercial die from Sizzix (Eileen Hull's birdhouse). The base is also a die from Sizzix. I made this set of 5 for a friend who has 4 nieces and was unable to attend the party because of the birth of the 4th niece. Her nieces requested a birdhouse when she told them she was coming to the party and would make them a house.

I think the bottle brush trees I ordered online from Consumer Crafts https://www.consumercrafts.com/home/index. The birds are primarily from Factory Direct Craft https://factorydirectcraft.com/index.php. I just love the little birds.

Lucy, these are really charming... I think you have probably reached another audience. The birds, esp. the cardinals, remind me of those little
German "nodders" that can be tricky to incorporate into village scenes because of their size. Yours are just right. Good show!

Thank you everybody. I know these little birdhouses aren't really putz house, but they are kind of retro and they are Christmasy. And they were fast and easy to make.

BurghGal, they are 4 inches tall. The house itself is 2 inches wide. I think the base is 5 inches. John, I always try to make each house look different. It's just more interesting to me that way. It's kind of like Howard always looking for a new design.

Thank you again for the kind comments.
