Well, I just HAD to build a School House of my very own! Got some help from some of my forum friends here, but-- I fudged the dimensions on several angles to customize it. This one is a little less wide, windows are a little smaller, the clock is set higher, and I finally did my very 1st "fuzzy" windows. Still going to add a luffah tree and also a flag, (will post another pic of that) but for now, pretty much done. I will build another one in the future with better all around looks, and hopefully better windows, but I just had to have one of these lil' gems on my mantle. Howard==> IDEA: Do you think this would be a nice little addition to the "Pack-O-Fun" house village my friend? I think so! I can shrink my plans down even a little more to do this if anyone here is interested(?) Well, here ya go-- Enjoy!...

yes...it would make a great addition to the "pack-o-fun" house collection...

so...why don't your email me a copy of your pattern of just the walls...(you have my email address already)...and i'll draw and post patterns in the same scale as all the other "pack-o-fun" houses...this will free you up to work on other bigger projects...

Yes Lynn, I do believe every village needs one too! I will be adding my little flag & a Luffah today hopefully. Then I will take a pic of it and post. Sounds great Howard, I thought you would like the idea! I will scan my drawings and send them to you via email sir!

Thank you all for your kind comments. This is one like Brian said is a "classic" that I've wanted to build for over a year. The last 2 ones on eBay were just waaaay out of my price range! So-- for a few pennies (literally!) I decided to finally do this project. Answer to your question Paul: It was my own "home grown" coconut that I made for this very project. I think it took longer to make that than the actual building! . But, I had a wonderful time doing this scratch-build. I will post a pic later on today if my 2 little "monkeys" let me (when they're down for a nap of course!) show the tree & flag installed. Oh, by the way Howard, I just sent you my original template to your email sir for proper "Pack-O-Fun" house re-sizing!

Okay my friends, here's the FINAL product (finally! LOL) Nice tall arborvitae has been planted, and the "Old Glory" is flying proudly!...
I sure LOVE this hobby... Well, onto the NEXT project folks!...
