Cardboard Christmas

Using a house from one of Pete’s chapters I made the 1930's small Blue Bungalow Green Spot house.
This house has it all. The house itself is mica, a bit finer than I usually grind it, coconut on the roof and the base is gravel, and the windows are fuzzy. The size is 5-5/8 “wide X 3-¼” deep and 4-1/4” tall. I’m told the Celluloid Santa is from around the 1940’s not in the same time period as the house but he looks happy don’t you think?

OUUH!...AAAH!...hope I've spelled these correctly...(but probably haven't)...if you were going for a vintage look...you did it!...everything is perfect...the Santa looks like he is there to stay!...

Oh, the house is scrumptious. Did you do your own 'fuzzing' on the windows? The combination of coconut, mica and gravel works well.

The house is so perfect. Such nice clean angles on the rooftops, the beautiful colors, the variety of coatings you used. It is a wonderful reproduction.

Thanks everyone, I have to give Pete credit for the windows, door, and the coconut. Without him I could never make these types of houses.
