A "Light Bulb" Tiny Hacienda

Funny how things sometimes work out. This tiny little house sat on the shelf above a workshop bench for years till it fell off and I picked up the bas and house and gave it a second look. I had rejected the idea of "fixing it up" as not only was it in bad condition it looked so tiny as hardly worth the effort it would take to fix it. But then I noticed the perfectly circular hole in the roof and realized it had to be that it originally came with a miniature light bulb in it.

The back had been BADLY ripped open to install a light bulb and remove the dead lite bulb. I decided to restore it as I had some flat top bulbs I bought some time ago to restore series bulbs in bubble lights. I disassembled the roof and fixed the base. I installed new cellophane in the windows but was able to find the proper size for the door. It likely WAS NOT a fuzzy window but that is the only thing that fit. I would assume it was some sort of gold cellophane thing but this was as far as I could go with it.

Tom, that is the only hacienda "light house" I have ever seen. Super nice job with the restoration!

I too am a bit floored by this "Find" among the fodder. It really doesn't make a whole lot of sense but then it doesn't have to either does it. Tom
